The
Victor Hugo Laser Centre is ideally located in
Paris and easy to get to by Métro or bus. It is
located within the prestigious setting of the Clinique
Victor Hugo, just two minutes from Place de l'Étoile
and five minutes from Place Victor Hugo.
The Victor Hugo Laser Centre opened on September 2,
1997, with a mission of offering state-of-the-art technology.
It now has two rooms equipped with the latest generation
of Intralase and Femtec femtosecond lasers and two
operating theatres equipped with Technolas 217z 100
and Nidek EC 5000 lasers upgraded under Windows.
Everything at the Victor Hugo Laser Centre has been
specially designed to ensure the safest possible conditions
for Presbyopia, Myopia, Hypermetropia and Astigmatism
procedures (monitoring of sterility and environmental
conditions of operating theatres). Ophthalmologist
surgeons operating at the Centre were among the first
to use the LASIK technique in France and have the experience
and perspective needed for assessing the procedure’s
potential for each case in particular.
Many ophthalmologists have already put their trust
in the Victor Hugo Laser Centre. Their work has led
to a very large number of laser procedures with a very
high rate of success. Obviously, this has only been
possible through rigorous selection of candidates,
as well as through the support of proven technology
and a veteran staff.
With greater perspective, constant technological progress
and a complete minimisation of side-effects, patients
and the general public are opting more and more often
for this type of procedure. The Victor Hugo Laser Centre’s
mission is to make all the human and technical infrastructure
available to surgeons, in order to offer patients the
best-quality service.
